Please note that if you want to purchase one of our packages, you must sign up first for a PRE-REGISTRATION FEE (A deposit of $20, which is applied towards the package or Walk-In $15, is required to reserve your spot for classes.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT LEVEL I AM?
LDF Salsa Houston takes pride in the opportunity to give quality instruction. In order for us to do that, we will need to know at what level to place you.
- Many times it will be difficult to say unless you come in and the instructor gives you a quick test run.
- Everyone learns at different speeds. So the following descriptions may vary to individuals.
Please read the following to give you a guideline to our levels:
BASICS
This is for those who have never taken Salsa instruction or are just starting to learn Salsa (less than 3 months experience). You will receive instruction that will effectively teach you the basic steps and patterns, musicality, and will give you a jump-start into the upper levels.
BEGINNER-IMPROVER
This is for those who have taken some basics already but need to still smooth out their dancing to properly transition between each step or pattern. Also learn how to feel confident in proper leading and follow techniques.
BEG/INTERMEDIATE
At this level you should already have your basics mastered and are ready to begin using some styling, footwork/shines and get into more technical lead and follow. You must be ready to upgrade your dancing with a bigger and more detailed repertoire of moves.
INTERMEDIATE
You willnow be given less detail with certain techniques that will always repeated, expected to pick up quicker and incorporate more body movement, spins, and difficult combinations.
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
Now, you are a level for challenge. Be expected to sweat. Come prepared to focus and learn quicker footwork and unusual, complicated combinations.

24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
If you do not call and cancel a private 24 hours in advance or do not show up for private you will be charged 1/2 price. A deposit of $20 is required for your appointment.
